E.F.E.E. stands for Enivronmentally Friendly and Ecologically Efficient
As we speak, over 80 acres per minute of the Brazilian Rainforests are cut down. The reason for this is because the types of wood found in these rainforests are in high demand for the use of flooring and other building materials. The purpose of this product is to help save the rainforest while still providing the materials that are in high demand.
Normal hardwood flooring is 19mm thick. During the creation of this product lots of tiny pieces of wood are wasted. Our product takes these wasted pieces of wood and uses them to create a recycled, yet still 100% piece of hardwood flooring that is as durable and as high quality as the regular 19mm product. Our product is made up of 60% to 80% of recycled wood residue, while a piece of wood only 3.8mm thick (as opposed to 19mm) is applied to the surface of the product.
By using this product you are not only getting a better and more stable product, but you are also helping save the rainforests by using an ecologically friendly product. Every 10,000 feet of this product that is produced is in turn, saving up to 40,000 feet of the Brazilian Rainforest.
Since this product is also specially engineered, it is guaranteed not to expand or contract in fluctuating temperatures. It comes with a 25 year guarantee. It is available pre-finished or un-finished and can also be stained. |
